about skullznbunniez

the shop name skullznbunniez was created on a whim!

the logo is inspired by my unique navajo rug featuring yeis wearing jeans,
which I have always seen as skulls with feather bunny ears.

 

my friend and I began distressing denim for fun in my backyard in 2016 -
the name skullznbunniez came as i love everything skulls and my friend bunnies!

this led to me building an etsy shop under the name skullznbunniez and starting to resell as a way to earn
extra income as a professional ballerina (and therefore "starving" artist)

during 2020/2021 when Covid hit, I focused on growing my business and also made the decision to go back to school to get my degree at IU Bloomington. I graduated in 2025 with highest distinction from the ballet department at the Jacobs School of Music. 



                                                    
to me the skulls represent the denim aspect of the business
while the bunnies represent the lingerie side.

i love pairing satiny lingerie pieces with vintage denim
creating an elegant, classic look with a bit of an edge -
hence skullznbunniez!
